HOTEL VICO ALTO, Siena – A Smart Stay in the City

My stay at the hotel was quite pleasant overall. The rooms were decent, clean, and spacious, although the location did not offer easy access to the historic city. The service provided by the staff was friendly and helpful, and the dining experience was very good with a variety of savory choices. However, the view from the room was not the most attractive, and the hotel was more suitable for using taxis rather than leisurely walks.

I had a mixed experience at the hotel. The rooms were poorly soundproofed, making it noisy, but the service was impressive, especially given the circumstances. The location was convenient for our needs, although not ideal for historic sightseeing. The dining was good overall with gluten-free options, and the facilities were relatively fine.

I was happy with the spacious room, large bathroom, and a balcony, although it took a bit of time to cool down. The cleaning supply room and restroom proximity was a bit inconvenient, especially when it sounded like a washing machine late at night. The hotel overall provided good value for money.

The hotel is located conveniently close to the rail station, making it easy for us to explore the Chianti region for cycling trips. The rooms were adequately clean and spacious, but the noise from the cleaning supply room was a bit disruptive. The service was exceptional with very friendly and helpful staff, particularly the reception team. The dining experience offered a savory selection, including gluten-free options, and was superb for the price. The facilities were top-notch, enhancing our overall stay.
